We cannot survive without work. We may enjoy a couple of days without work being free of all duties and responsibilities but we feel disoriented thereafter. If workless period continues much longer, we feel bored and listless. Doubt arises on our existence if we are alive. A state of having no work kills us from inside. Too long a leisure time becomes unbearable for us and we certainly don\u2019t want to continue that for the rest of our lives. Nobody can live without work for long. That is why we need to work, as long as possible. We have a lot to achieve. We inspire others through our work. Idleness is a sin. Through our work, we can make life easier and also make it better for others. It is only the work that encourages others to do good to their family, community and the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In order to improve our lives and to make sure that our country progresses continuously, we need to treat our work as a form of worship, just like a service to God. We need to develop full respect to our respective fields of work. Whatever may be our contribution to family, community and the society, every work deserves respect unless it does not violate the law of the land and code of ethics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There must be complete dedication to the work we do.  Successful scientists, sportspersons, businessmen\u2014all of them treat their work quite seriously. Their hard work and perseverance
bring them success in their respective fields.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We all know about our country\u2019s great cricketer Mr. Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and his excellence in the field of cricket. But, we don\u2019t know about the sacrifices he made in his life to fulfil his dreams. He was devoted to learning all that he could to improve upon his skill of batting as a cricketer. His love and passion for the game of cricket allowed him to work endlessly to achieve his dreams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work teaches us to be humble and disciplined not just to make our lives purposive but to cater to the needs of others too. Work does not allow us to be arrogant and indifferent to the
needs of others. As we don\u2019t disrespect our God whom we worship from the core of our hearts, we must not disrespect our work and all those who are associated with it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Famous entrepreneurs such as Mr. Ratan Tata and Mr. Sanjiv Goenka who are the industry leaders and head various well reputed manufacturing, business and trade establishments, look after the needs of their fellow colleagues and subordinates besides being focussed on their work. They work as a team, keeping in mind the interests of the organisation and those of the personnel and workforce who work for them.  This is what makes them so successful in their fields. It is their attitude which is guided by the notion \u2018work is worship\u2019 makes them successful and favourite of all those who come in their contact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Work is very important for our well-being. We cannot live without it. It is very important for our day-to-day lives. India\u2019s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru rightly said : \u201cAaram Haram Hai\u201d or \u201cLaziness is the cause of our doom\u201d. Therefore, we must take initiatives to work and contribute in whatever way we can to ensure a better life for ourselves as well as for others.
